CWE is proud to be the service provider for the Construction Skills Pre-apprenticeship Training Program. The program offers qualified participants, who successfully complete the course, direct entry referrals into unionized apprenticeship programs.
Introduction to the Building Trades is designed to provide a general overview of the unionized construction industry. Participants will be engaged in learning the importance of historical aspects and current requirements of the trades, job readiness techniques, health and safety measures on a construction job site, green buildings, reading blueprints and financial literacy.
